Erin Marie Dotsey was born on February 11, 1980 in Lexington, Kentucky, one week shy of exactly twenty-three months after me.  One of my earliest memories is of the day she came home from the hospital after being brought into this world.  Of my three siblings, she’s the only one I share the curly haired trait with.

Erin has always been very independent and never minded doing things her own way or in her own way.  She graduated from UNC-Wilmington and worked in Raleigh, North Carolina for a while, but eventually left with a guy she met while traveling around Europe to sail to the island of St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands.  She ended up staying there for a while then eventually moved to Portland, Oregon for a bit.

Erin currently lives in Raleigh again and works as for a financial consulting firm.  Whether she’s got it in her mind to ever settle down remains to be seen.
