A section about our beloved dog. Yes, we’re one of those couples.

His full name is Brucey Shea Puppy-Doodle Dingo! Leckerbissen Mercer Dotsey. He’s named after Batman (well, the original Bruce part anyway) because of his markings. Amanda wanted to call him Coco or Nutmeg or something queer like that, and I wanted to call him Caesar or Kaiser. His original owner, Nikki Gajowski, called him Louie, and for a day or two his name was Zim.

Names are tough!

Everyone loves Bruce. Seriously, they do.  Everyone in our Small Group plays with him as soon as they get here.  (Except for Kaitlyn Boscaljon, but she doesn’t like animals anyway.)  Kids love to pet him (although conversely, some run away in fear), people are always giving him treats. When we pull out the “bang-bang” trick, it’s over man, people love it.  Amanda even made a rule that I’m not allowed to walk him down the beach alone, because chicks dig him. They do. One time I went to the bank with Bruce, and this cute college girl saw him in the car and came over to pet him.
